Herbal Workshops
Our herbal workshops provide hands-on, community-based education focused on reconnecting people with plant medicine and traditional knowledge. Participants learn how to grow, harvest, prepare, and safely use herbs for wellness and everyday living.
How to Grow Herbs
Workshops cover soil preparation, seed starting, transplanting, watering practices, pest management, harvesting techniques, and seasonal care. Participants learn which herbs thrive in our regional climate, how to grow in-ground or in containers, and how to cultivate both culinary and medicinal varieties.
Using Herbs Medicinally
Classes introduce the fundamentals of herbalism, including understanding plant properties, basic safety guidelines, and traditional uses of common herbs. Participants explore how herbs support immune health, digestion, stress relief, skin care, and overall wellness.
Making Herbal Products
Hands-on sessions teach participants how to create their own herbal remedies and body care products, including:
Salves for skin healing and moisture support
Teas (infusions and decoctions) for internal wellness
Tinctures for concentrated herbal extracts
Participants leave with practical skills, recipes, and products they’ve made themselves.
